Helios 44M-6 produced by Zenit (Ussr), was one of the most numerically produced lenses. This specimen with M42 mount was produced in the Zenit factory in Valdaj; as indicated by the logo on the front of the lens. The fortuitous and casual purchase on a stall at a Christmas market. After a first brief cleaning and a functional check of optics and mechanics, everything seems to work correctly. I’ll have to do further checks and tests, but above all… photographs. The lens is known to be a lens with great rendering of bokeh and blur. I’m curious to try it.
