Paying for Instagram… Starting from October 30th, those who prefer to avoid advertisements on META’s social platforms, including the main Facebook and Instagram, will need to pay for the service.
Personally, I haven’t used Facebook for several years now; my communication develops through my photographs. I have therefore been using Instagram since September 2020. Publishing one of my original photographs every day. For the past few months, I’ve been publishing two photographs daily.
Editing, choosing and verifying photographs takes time. Publishing them requires more time… and time is not only money. But unfortunately it is also little, in my case. Whether you like or appreciate my photographs is entirely up to you. In any case my activity on the INSTAGRAM social network is CREATIVE. – Pay for Instagram ?
That is, I contribute in some way to the social network with my “modest” personal photographic contribution. Without any remuneration and with the sole intention of advertising my website. WEBSITE that DOES NOT contain advertising of any kind from third parties.
My website possibly advertises my photographic portfolios in a discreet and non-invasive form, with paid photographs on specialized platforms, as you can view for yourself.
I don’t intend to pay INSTAGRAM to avoid advertising, and I DO NOT intend to have the blue check as a verified user. The latter is completely useless to me, it makes no sense since the WEB site contains implicit verification of my identity.

I don’t agree with META’s completely legitimate choice. As a content creator and therefore supporting the platform with unique and original photographic material. I should on the contrary be able to have some facilitation also with regards to advertising which, despite myself, I have to forcefully see.
As a result, in the coming weeks, my presence on the INSTAGRAM platform will be substantially reduced. I realize that none of you are interested and/or will be interested in this, but since it interests me… I write what I think and obviously think is right for me.
Instagram will be able to do without the LUCALOVEPHOTO user, without any problem… the LUCALOVEPHOTO user will similarly dedicate ITS time to other, perhaps even profitable, activities.
Giving up the regular, daily publication of content without any problem. Contents that, if they didn’t enrich INSTAGRAM, didn’t enrich me either.
