Aqua Nano Tank

Aqua Nano Tank

Hallo everyone, and welcome back to my site. Thanks to those who have the patience to follow my posts. A warm welcome to those who are here for the first time.

Another passion recovered from the recent past. Aqua Nano Tank will be published on the Bluesky social network. I don’t know if this new social network will be successful…, I hope so. Above all, I hope that we can interact in an interesting, civil, educational and therefore constructive way.

As already mentioned in a previous post, in 2024 I dedicated a lot of time to this passion. In particular to small freshwater fish. The so-called NANO fish, and small ornamental shrimp. I took some time and space away from photography, and dedicated myself almost exclusively to the creation of small aquariums, and to the breeding of both small fish and shrimp.

Despite having a 180 lt. aquarium in my possession, I have kept this aquarium NOT used. I have created aquariums with volumes between 27 and 60 gross litres. A choice determined by a series of fairly random circumstances.
I don’t rule out setting up the large aquarium again in the future, but at the moment I don’t feel the need. The species I’m breeding are small or even micro fish, which fit perfectly into tanks of this capacity.

Neo caridina davidi, Yellow Neon Fire

As for shrimp, they are a recent “discovery”, which I’ve studied in depth in recent months. Breeding started at the beginning of October 2024. The reproductive part began in mid-November. The species I decided to breed is Neo caridina davidi. Probably the easiest to get started with these cute freshwater animals.

So if you are in any way interested in learning more about this topic and following developments… follow me on the new social network. You will find published photographs and videos of various fish and small shrimp.
I will NOT publish anything on this site, everything I develop in the future will be TOTALLY linked to the AQUA NANO TANK account on the Bluesky social network.

I hope you will also be interested in exploring this fascinating hobby in some way. We’ll see you in the next post anyway!
