Flowers, cultivated, ornamental, house flowers. Flowers photo collection. As seen in the gardens, botanic gardens or vegetable gardens… some of these not so easy to see.
The images on these pages relate to the photographic shots taken since FEBRUARY 2021. Photographs taken mainly in North East of the Milan province (Lombardia region – Italy). If not in this area, each image will include location/site of the shooting. Time by time, these images will be replaced with new ones (same subject), better in my opinion. I apologize for any incorrect classification of flowers and plants in the images of the site. If you have any suggestions, these are welcome.

Cultivated flowers are plants that have been grown and cared for by humans, typically for ornamental purposes.
These flowers are typically grown in gardens, greenhouses, or other controlled environments and are often hybridized or selectively bred to produce specific traits such as color, fragrance, or size.
Cultivated flowers can include annuals, which complete their life cycle within one growing season. Perennials, which can live for multiple seasons.
They can also include a wide range of plant species, including roses, lilies, and daisies. Cultivated flowers are often used in landscaping, gardening, and flower arrangements and are a popular subject in horticulture and floriculture.
